Mojo Moday Design 192.

I know it's nearly a week late, but this is what I have been working on this week.

The design template is from Mojo Monday 192.
The colours are inspired from a Home Magazine, see cut out.
I matched the colours to Whisper white, and Pacific point with Daffodil Delight.
I also used DPS paper Greenhouse Gala.
The ribbon is striped grosgrain and taffeta in Daffodil Delight.
I have use the scallop border punch fro the bottom of the card.
The scallop round punch and the circle punch.
Stamps used were from the Greenhouse Garden.
The inks used were the stamping writers.
Colours: Pacific Point, Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight and So Saffron.
The tag is made from the Elegant Thank You stamp, and punched out using the Modern label extra large punch.

Altered note!

Using scraps and odd left over DSP, I have altered 18p note pads to make lovely gifts for your friends, just perfect for your handbag or kitchen shopping list.

Three very different designs
Greenhouse Gala DPS, Cottage Garden stamps using chocolate chip inks. some level one hostess paper from the In Colour paper stack used as a contrasting  pattern, with little butterfly embosslets as embellishments. on both front and back.

Sentement from Oval All stamp set, with only the word friend inked with stamping write markers. flowers punched and a bright brad added, stuck with a glue dot. The DSP are strips left over from a different project but filled the note book perfectly. Hope you like it!

Marina Mist card embossed with Manhattan Flowers on the Big Shot machine highlighted with whisper white ink pad rubbed over. whisper white card used at the top with the scallop punch. this was finished off with the seam binding ribbon tied with a rose. sentiment form Baroque Motifs

The backs covered give a lovely professional finish.

Card for an English Teacher

This is a project I have been working on this week, it is for my support workers husband. He needed a card for the staff to sign for a student teacher who was leaving. This meant me taking it a bit far with a full production, which landed me in A&E last night as I had dropped my heavy guillotine on my foot, only to notice 5 hours later (as I have no feeling in my legs) as I had just been crafting away in my own teacher world making this book. Thankfully nothing broken! foot very swollen and had big bruise and lump! silly me. :(
Themed on a trip to see Blood Brothers at the theatre, love of books, and for a male English Teacher , I hope this hits the mark. The black bits at the bottom are to represent backs of heads and chairs, hope you get the idea.

The inside was made to look like a book with the sentiments written as background,  and a top note for the staff to all have a place to sign.

Hope you like the tabs, like a teachers organiser.
Will follow with products used ASAP

Thank you over 1000 hits in just 4 weeks!

Just wanted to say thank you to all of you who are following me. I am so excited to see people are watching my blog. I only built the blog myself 4 weeks ago, by watching a tutorial on youtube and decided to have a go. Over 1000 hits I am so excited!!!! :)

I am learning, there has been a few mistakes but thats the fun of it. I just need to find more energy to make things to post. We had a go today at filming me make the ribbon roses I demonstrated at training. I need a bit more practise and a better camera, but my support worker was game on and helped film me so thanks K. All I can say is watch this space!!

As they say... Thanks for stopping by!!

Wedding Weekend

Wedding ideas:- invitations, envelope cards, place settings , thank you cards,  flowers and bunting ideas.

Punches make quick backgrounds using the designer series patterned paper stacks. Ink and edge the topper, which is wrapped with linen thread. Stamp set is fun and fast notes, coloured with Stampin' markers, pearls added with a punched flower, how cute!

More Milk Carton ideas,  it can be used for so many things.
