Gift Bags

Well after a week in bed, I felt today I needed to update my blog, so I added my class details and got organised. So after time on the computer some changes trying to expand information, my friend called in to organise the workshop and we started to make gift bags instead. Hurray!!
It was much more fun to craft especially when it's raining all day. Thanks for a fab afternoon Sue, hope you all like the bags we made. If you want to join in and craft with me check out the classes and dates I have posted.

The tags make all the difference, I love them!

Sue your bags look great thanks for your inspiration and keeping me going xx

The Springtime Vintage paper looks lovely, don't you think?

The base is made from a square made into a box bottom, and then DSP wrapped around, a one inch scallop boarder punch is added to the outside, with tabs punched out to allow ribbon through to tie together, tags were made by extending one end. The tab punch and stamping sentiments and embellishing with the scrap extra paper.

Supplies used all Stampin' Up

Card – Whisper White for the base, Melon Mambo, Rose Red, Perfect Plum
Papers – Springtime Vintage DSP and Pattern Stacks DSP brights/subtles
Stamps – Cottage Garden
Embellishments - Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Pumpkin Pie and Marina Mist, Satin Ribbon in Whisper White, Seam Binding Ribbon.
Ink - Whisper White
Tools – Scallop trim Border Punch, Tag Punch, Round Tab Extra large punch, Paper Cutter and score tool, Crop-A-Dile, Sticky strip.

Hope you like them all!

Going on an Art day out tomorrow with my Dad, Acrylic on canvas abstract painting, looking forward to it, so need to get some rest now - hope to be back soon.
