Baby Blossom into Cath Kidstonesque paper

Just wanted to make some of my own DSP using the stamps and inks I had.

Cath Kidston is having a sale I only know this as I got an email reminder! This was the inspiration to make my own patterned paper, all quite simple once you have seen an idea.

So here is a step by step guide to making a sheet of your own DSP paper....

Stamp your first image, I used Real Red.

Next match up the second part using your Stamp-am-jig. I used Not quite Navy.

Don't worry about making mistakes, just stamp over another rose or leaf it soon blends in. Just go for it....I have had great fun making my own paper. Makes you use your stamps and become more confident to free hand.

Select your leaves, I did this free had but you could use the Stamp-am-jig.

Adding extra leaves, move them about so they are not so uniform. You can see the paper coming together now...so exciting!

Don't you just love it.. Hope you like it!

Baby bib improved

I kept looking at these cards thinking there just not finished, then I thought get the Crop-a-Dile out and punch some small holes.
What a difference it can make.....Hope you like it!

Forgot to say I inked the edges with a sponge just to lift the card.

Baby bib cards

I have made this card for a very special friend who I don't get to see that much now she has 4 children! and I am more house bound. Her little baby girl was born over three months ago now and I must give her one or both of these cards not sure she may get both! If she looks on the blog before Monday she could choose her own!

I just had to share them with you they are so cute!

Just for you Caren xxxx

Wedding gift card

I have made this for my Dad's niece who is getting married very soon Amy made her own invitations with the help of her class at school (she is a teacher) and used hearts and the "Love is..." theme. So I have made a card to reflect some of her ideas and as my parents are giving money so made a gift card holder as part of the front of the card.

The Top Note Die has been cut out and embossed with Elegant Bouquet folder. The base card is mat and layered with Basic Black and Melon Mambo and Very Vanilla card stock.

The satin ribbon has the small hearts stamped and punched out in black and melon mambo from the I heart stamp set.

With the front being so heavy the inside needed mounting to help it stand. Sentiment is from the Curly Cute range.

Inside the hearts are stamped to follow the theme.

The flap was cut using the word window punch to hold the gift card.

The Pearls were set to follow the embossed image

I hope Amy and Dave will like this card, there initials were stamped using the Broadsheet Alphabet and the & sign was from Thanks for Caring stamp, inked using the Stampin Write Markers and positioned using the Stamp a ma jig.

Hope you like it!
