I made it to Paris 2011 Convention!

Just wanted to say thank you to all of you who have been so supportive since I came out of hospital in Nov 2011. My mum as always xx, my friend Karen your a star who came with and has always been there for me I could not have done it with out you xx.  Sue my close fiend who helped me with my swaps to get to convention and to ALL fellow pinkies who have just been brilliant you know who you are, your support has been overwhelming.
I even had a huge support from other teams in Yorkshire, Monica and Julie and their teams who were great at ensuring I got on and off the plane okay. Also my biggest thanks to Michelle Last, who believed in me encouraged me to go and even thanked me before going up onto stage to retain her title as No1 UK Demo of the Year 2011, so proud of you well done and for me, so worth a week in bed to recover!

Well this is how it started some pictures before I left home! "I Love SU Paris" wall hanging momento.

Me feeling the pressure a bit as I made 49 swaps in Cherry Cobler, Night of Navy and Whisper white card stock.
Stamp sets and punches all set out. We then changed the colour scheme to very Vanilla, Pacific Point and Chocolate Chip.
The heart punch was measured and the centre found so each square was in line, see the post it note. I used the masking technique to put in the letters SU for Stampin Up! But you could put a photo in this wall hanging. I wanted the demos to have a moment from paris.
Line up your letter ready to stamp over the masked area.
If you don't use clear block use your stamp-a-ma-jig.
The punched out square was added after I had done some fake stitching using the piercing tool and mat.
This is the final product, with a handmade tag, and a ribbon loop at the top to hang the picture.
You can see mine at the bottom on this swap display board.
I made 70 in the end which was a fab achievement in just two weeks after been in hospital for 4 weeks. thank you for all my swaps, hope you liked mine!

Hi I am back!

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to say hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and wish you a Happy New Year.

It's going to be an exciting year for me especially working with Stampin Up! as they say life begins at "40" so with a big birthday coming up, moving house in 2012, I will be starting my new life of recovery on my own having decided to break up with my fiancĂ©.

Stampin Up here I come..., with the new mini catalogue launch in January followed by "sale-a-bration", it's going to be great. I will be running some card classes, open days and workshops, also training and looking to recruit new team members, so if your interested in becoming a demonstrator just give me a call, I have a fab intro pack if you join in January, so watch this space for details.

Also I would like to share with you a few things I have been up to over the last few months before we start with new products, so I would like to take you back to Nov 2011 Convention and share how I managed to get to Paris have my first holiday in 5 years and had the time of my life.

See you all soon, and Happy New Year!

Dawn x
