Vintage card 2

As promised but a bit late card number two....

We made our own wrap using the scallop circle Die and punched holes around the edge, lots of inking with the sponge dauber a, the vintage roller large wheel inked with Early Expresso and the robin all the way around to tie in a bow at the front.
The napkin (none SU) is stuck to some very vanilla card stock and cut out using the circle Die.

Vintage Wedding card idea 1

Back to wedding cards....Sue and I decided to make three cards to get ideas before the bride made her final decision on the wedding card. The first one we made made was the biggest and used the napkin that followed from the save the date. We did lots of distressed edging and decided that as we were not posting we could indulge in the vintage buttons.

We stamped the initials on the card and added pearls to finish the effect.

Vintage Save the Date Wedding Tags

Happy new year everyone,

I new year for me, hopefully giving you all new ideas, I hope to inspire you all with the fab new things in our catalogues, so before sale-a-bration begins remember some of the fab stamp sets in the catalogue and how we can use them for different designs.

Starting with a vintage Save the Date card designed for my one of my best friends daughter. Using the stamp set French Foliage. Based around a luggage tag for their wedding in Cyprus this year!

We used Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla card stock, we used inks in Crumb Cake and Early Expresso and Always Artichoke.

The only thing none SU we used was some tissues and napkins to give is the back ground roses to match the wedding theme. This was pealed off to the one layer and stuck using tombo. Everything was distressed using the Sponge Daubers.

We printed onto the Very Vanilla card and cut to the tag shape. The ribbon is the Crochet trim again inked to distress it. With a punched out circle put through the lattice embossing folder.

We were really pleased with the finished effect.

Let me know if you like it

Glad to be back
