Sweet Baby, Simply Sent Kit

Good Afternoon,

Still looking at my simply sent kit so this is my next card........

Quick and simple but that extra touch with a few other products. I covered the hello with the grey sticky strip and ribbon, then turned on the side.
I thought for a boy or girl this would be a lovely card, I stamped the envelope with the sentiment "Miracles Happen" free stamp set with the SAB offer.

Hope you like it

Happy Hello, Simply Sent from Sale-a-Bration.

Hi Everyone,

It's been such a busy week, I have been learning to drive an adapted hand controlled car, very exciting but it's also been very tiring hence you have not had a card for a while.

So I decided I would use the pre cut card kit from the SAB offer when I spent £45 or more, this is what I made .....

Just needed to tweak it a bit could not really keep it so simple. What do you think?

I sprayed the heart and flower with vanilla shimmer mist. Not sure if you can tell, but it gives a really nice pearl finish to them.

Hope you like it!

See you soon with another card.

Happy Valentines Day <3

My last couple of cards for you to see from our class last week.

DSP Amore from the new catalogue, new cutting and stamp bundle cut on Real Red, also Pool Party and Very Vanilla card stock.
Stamp set is also Free with a £45 spend during SAB is Itty Bitty Banners but this can also be bought from the main catalogue it was stamped in Basic Grey.

These variations on a theme were done with simple matting and layering, embossing using the Sale A Bration free folder with a £45 spend. Looks good with some glimmer card which you can also get FREE when you host a party with sales over £300, you can change up the sentiment for different occasions.

This was also quick and easy, using the perfect postage stamped heart, punched out squares inked in matching colours. I used the Simply Scored board to make the grid lines to help keep the squares in line. The card was based on the colours from the SAB buttons and ribbon collection Maddison Gardens, using Island Indigo and Tangerine Tango, with the additional punched heart, rhinestone and love stamp. What do you think?
I will be back to tell you about my night out and let you know if the valentine favours were liked.
Have a lovely day

Valentine favours quick and easy!

Hi guys, Just a quick post to show you what I have been making today for my night out with a group of girls tomorrow called our "Anti Valentine" night out, we are all alone going out for a meal to celebrate. So we decided to make it fun and bring a card or something valentine related to give to someone else. So I took the opportunity to make some favours using some of the Be of Good Cheer DSP or other Cherry Cobbler Coloured Paper.

What do you think? I hope the girls like them. Inside is a luxury chocolate. We even named them to make the place setting...we could not resist. Those of you who know me from the Stampin Up Paris trip, will remember my friend Karen, well she has been crafting all morning and loved it! I will get her hooked yet!!

Back later with my last two valentine cards...thanks for stopping by...

Valentine Card

Hope you all enjoyed the Blog Hop at the weekend...thank you for your lovely comments.
Sorry for the late post today but I have been for driving lessons in Leeds, VERY exciting....learning to drive again but only using my hands due to my MS......So watch out if all goes well I might be back on the roads very soon.
I did have to laugh this morning when I asked my carer to get some suitable shoes to drive in... SMILE! As my legs have not worked for 4 years she pointed out that shoes were not relevant....The instructor thought it was funny, but I did tell him every girl wants nice shoes to look good anyway!
Well thats enough about my day .... you want to see the cards we made at the crafting class on Saturday. I made it in Early Expresso and Pool Party to start with, but my niece changed it to Real Red, they both work really well, what do you think?

I apologies for the picture quality please click on the photo to get a better view... Thanks

DSP was from the Xmas Candlelight collection, but any coordinating DSP would be lovely. The Pool Party coloured button and ribbon is from the Bloomin Marvelous SAB collection FREE with every £45 Spend. Call me if you want to place an order. 01904 492366.

The stamp set is You are Loved, the edges were inked using the daubers and sprayed using the coordinating pens with the Colour Spritzer Tool.
We had great fun learning how to use this to get fab effects really easy but effective technique.

This was edged more heavily with the ink to ensure it was deep in colour.
You can spray in different ways to make the ink more concentrated in one area, it's great fun and gives a good effect. Have a go you will love it.

To order this fab tool cat no (107066) cost £10.95 please email or call me follow the details above.

We added some Very Vanilla card so there was somewhere to write your message. Small heart punched to add that extra touch...<3

The Ribbon is the Stitched Grosgrain in Early Expresso tied in a Sweetie Bow and the coordinating button from the Neutrals collection with Twine to make a bow.
Hope you like it!

Pinkies Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue Blog Hop.........

Pinkies Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue Blog Hop.........

Welcome back and thank you for stopping by today for Part 2 of the Pinkies Spring/Summer Blog Hop. We are showcasing lots of gorgeous projects today, using products from the new Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep on hopping. We love comments, so please do tell us what you think!

If you have arrived here from Caro's blog, a big hello to you.........

I was so excited by the new Spring Summer Catalogue I had to use some of the lovely DSP To make a special card. It was for my brothers fiancé for her birthday earlier this week. I made this design as she loves the vintage look. She really liked the crimped strips of paper and I love the flowers matching the New DSP.

I made this with layers of DSP, First Edition Speciality Paper and Natural Composition Speciality the New Tea for Two DSP from the Summer Catalogue, this was cut, torn scored using simply scored and crimped. I also used the Blooming Marvelous stamp set free with a £45 spend during Sale-A-Bration.

The pearls were added and buttons are from the New Catalogue ...Artisan Embellishment Kit. The Happy Birthday banner is from the itty bitty banners stamp set but I cut this out myself along with the flowers where I did some rock and roll stamping on the flowers using Island Indigo to darken the edges this was to to mirror the effect from the flowers in the jug.

I used the embossing designer frames folders to cut out the DSP jug and flowers, torn around the edge and stuck on top of Very Vanilla card stock. Behind I added soft suede card also put throughout the big shot embossing folder Vintage Wallpaper to add texture

The inside was also stamped with the flowers and leaves from the stamp set, inked in Pool Party and Baja Breeze with the leaves in Certainly Celery The top corner has some matching torn DSP. Some edges were distressed and pealed back to add to the vintage look.

If you want to order from any of the catalogues please call me on 01904 492366 or email me at dawn@theluxuryinkpad.co.uk. Remember for every £45 spend you can select an item from the Sale-A-Bration products for FREE.

Sale-a-bration Friend Card

I held my card class last night it was great fun to get back together with my regular girls and an old friend has joined us who has never crafted before, but she soon got going, before long she was lost in stamping, inking and plenty of glue! If you want to join my classes check out the link above for groups in the next few weeks.
This is one of the cards we made, using products from the Sale-a-Bration offer.

If your still interested I have limited places for tomorrows repeat class so call me on 01904 492366 if you want to join in.
Remember or every £45 spend you get a free product check out the options and the bottom of this post. I used the Bloomin' Marvelous set.

I inked inside as well, to match the softness of the card. But the truth be told I did this first and decided it was too pale so made it the inside and copied it again on the card front, as I said last night never a mistake with crafting just a happy accident! I am sure you have heard that before....

Anyway just shows that anything goes. I did use the friends stamp and added it to the sentiment from the Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set. I think this is lovely and could be used in many cards.

Hope you like it, remember to stop by on Sunday for our Blog Hop when I have a new card to show along with a link to the other demonstrators in our team.

See you soon....Dawn x

Vintage wedding Card Number 3

This was the 3rd idea we gave to our client. All SU products except the band of lace card which is a tea light holder to put onto the wedding tables, we used this as the doilies had not arrived from our SU order, but I think it's giving the vintage idea.

I loved this card, vintage brads, very vintage large roller wheel in crumb cake along the bottom, and DSP First Edition paper used to make flowers with the new small scallop punch we also used the boho blossom punch. Early Expresso stitched ribbon, crochet trim across the middle along with pearls to finish it off.
We used the napkin again to bring in the rose, and linked the save than date card using the French foliage stamp set at the top, the ink spots are so effective. The card edges were distressed and inked in crumb cake and early Expresso.
Hope you like it!
